Indoor air pollutants have been ranked among the top 5 environmental risks to public health by the EPA. The answer to cleaner, healthier, indoor air is controlling the particulates in any conditioned space.
For over 50 years, CosaTron® has been installed in everything from A to Z – airports, arenas, bank buildings, bingo halls, casinos, churches, clean rooms, educational facilities, hospitals, industry, libraries, museums, offices, restaurants, smoking lounges, and zoos around the world. Thousands of satisfied customers breathe air that has been cleaned by CosaTron®.
Controls dust, smoke, and or odors.
Lowers cleaning and maintenance costs.
Reduces outside air requirements for ventilation.
Controls contaminants at their source.
Helps meet indoor air quality standards.
Prevents build-up of indoor contaminants.
CosaTron's Electronic Air Purification Technology Sets it Apart
CosaTron® is the leader in Air purification Technology with more than 33,000 systems installed throughout the world. The patented technology has been successfully deployed for over 50 years in a wide range of customized applications. CosaTron® will improve Indoor Air quality (IAQ) and reduce the health risks associated with exposure to dangerous Allergens and Pathogens.
CosaTron® was developed to affect particulates and gaseous contaminants in the air at the sub micron level. The particles smaller than 3 microns are less affected by airflow and more influenced by electrical fields. The CosaTron system introduces High Voltage and High Frequency electrical fields. The combination of these two fields accelerate particle collisions, resulting in an increase in particle size, which, in turn, allows the contaminants to be captured by the filters. CosaTron® is not a filter, but the system works with standard media filters to dramatically enhance filter efficiency.
CosaTron® produces no by-products. The technology does not impart a charge on the particles, nor is it producing Carbon Dioxide, Ozone or any other chemical compound as part of the process. As per the 2015 ASHRAE position Document on Filtration and Air Cleaning, all other air cleaning technologies produce by-products that may be more harmful than the contaminants intended for removal.
